Most prints of the artist Ji Shicheng are abstract and figurative at the same time. They are mysterious and some times surreal. Like a scene out of a legend or a fary tale. Ji Shicheng works with a limited spectrum of colors to underline the atmosphere of the scenery.

Mr. Ji Shicheng was born in 1957 in Changchun in Jilin province in China. Currently he is a member of the Chinese Artists Association and the Chinese Printmakers Association. In Jilin city he is the director of the Prints Art Committee of the Chinese Artists Association.
The prints of Ji Shicheng have been shown in several Chinese exhibitions and have been awarded with several prizes.
There are a view publications about the artist. The book "Ji Shicheng's Artworks" was published by Jinlin People's Art Publish House. And the print "Black Cloud - Autumn Labor" was published in the book "Chinese Prints in One Hundred Years", in "Chinese Art Works, Prints Vol." and in the book "Chinese Contemporary Art".
Jo Shicheng works in the technique of the woodblock print. The prints are published as limited editions. They are signed, titled, and dated by the artist.
