"Every of us has a face. It is different because it smiles or is sad, virtuous or double-canted. We cannot well understand only by what we see in this fast developping world. It might be a bridge of our communication and also a puzzle of our dialog."
"But after hundreds of years, it is just a symbol that we can use to distinguish who is who. Therefore smile and be honest everyday. Then people might remember you."
The following text is a statement by Miss Li Mei about Zhao Qiangyun's artworks. Miss Li Mei is a famous Chinese artist and professor at CNAFA (Chinese National Academy of Fine Arts).
"This series shows the young artist's desire for impressiveness and goodness in people's communications. Zhao Qiangyun has his special idea about life and people's relationships. By the fine technique of Chinese traditional woodblock printmaking, he shows his feelings from deep inside. It is a successful artwork."
