About Us > Custom Tibetan Rugs
In addition to our online auction sales we offer you to
commission a traditional Tibetan rug just for you.
This page explains how it works.
Traditional Tibetan Rugs by artelino
We are specialized in all hand-made Tibetan rugs in traditional
designs and traditional sizes of circa 90 by 180 cm = 3 by 6 feet.
Nothing else. Just this. Please do not read further if you want a large
carpet or a modern design. We are the wrong company for you.
Our Tibetan rugs are made in a manufactory in Nepal owned and managed
by a Nepalese personal friend of mine whom I know for ca. 30 years.
The rugs are produced under ethical working conditions. My friend
even maintains an elementary school and nursery for the children of
the workers.
How to Order
-
Select from our portfolio of
sold Tibetan rugs
the item number you want. Important: You are restricted to the designs and
colors as you see them. All sizes are roughly 90 by 180 cm = 3 by 6 feet.
We neither take different sizes nor different designs. We also do
not take any color variations - for a simple reason:
It will not work well if you want a color shade precisely
in the tone that matches your wall paper and alike.
-
Price: Please calculate $420 plus our commission
of currently 20.00% plus the
shipping fee.
For residents of the
European Union
19%
VAT (Value Added Tax - TVA, BTW, IVA, MWST) will be added on
top of the total invoice.
-
Your order will take from 3 to 6 months.
-
When finished, the rug is sent to us. We inspect it, photograph and
describe it and make it visible for you on our web site.
-
Now it is up to you to make a final decision.
If you like the rug, then we charge the grand total to your credit card
and ship to you. If you do not, you do not owe us anything except maybe
a friendly "thanks" by email, and we will offer the piece in
our regular auctions.
If you are interested in a custom order, please
contact us.
